Trinity Shield: St Clement into semi-finals with 5-1 St Peter win

St Clement are through to the semi-finals of the Trinity Shield after cruising to a 5-1 win over St Peter at Les Quennevais.

Karl Hinds hit a hat-trick for the eastern parish, while Dan Romeril and Danny Craven were also on target.

Scott Welsh got a consolation for St Peter, who beat Trinity 3-1 in the first round of Saturday, late on.

St Clement will travel to St Brelade in the the semi-finals on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, last year's beaten finalists St Saviour face 2013 champions St Lawrence in the quarter-finals.

The winners will face reigning champions Grouville, who cruised to a 7-1 win at St John on Saturday in their quarter-final.
