Trinity Shield: St Brelade edge St Ouen in extra time

Chris Andrews scored twice for St Brelade as they went into the semi-finals

Jersey winger Chris Andrews scored twice for St Brelade as they beat St Ouen 3-2 in extra time to reach the semi-finals of the Trinity Shield.

Josh L'Amy-Coudrais gave St Ouen a first-half lead before Andrews equalised with three minutes left.

Richard Guillaume put St Ouen ahead five minutes into extra time but two goals in three minutes from Fraser Barlow and Andrews sealed the win.

Elsewhere, reigning champions Grouville cruised to a 7-1 win at St John.

Island striker Charlie Petulla scored five goals while Wayne Shales and Joel Hayward were also on target.

St Peter won their first round match 3-1 at Trinity thanks to goals form John Tardivel, Bradley Rimeur and James Le Ruez.

St Peter will face St Clement in Monday's quarter-final for the right to play St Brelade in the last four, while Grouville face the winner of Saturday's clash between St Savour and St Lawrence.
