Host nation Thailand lifted the women's Emerging Nations Trophy after a three-wicket win in a low-scoring contest with Scotland.

The Scots had won their first five matches in Bangkok but followed Friday's defeat to the Netherlands with a poor batting display, with no player reaching double figures on the way to 63 all out.

Olivia Bell took a remarkable five wickets for just eight runs but Thailand got to 65-7 in the 12th over to finish on top of the standings via run-rate.

Scotland were one of four teams to finish on five victories and two defeats, slipping from top spot to fourth in the table after the final round of fixtures.

Thai captain Nauremol Chaiwai was the top scorer on 17 not out on a day for the bowlers to shine.

Thipatcha Putthawong picked up the player of the match award for her 4-17, with Suleeporn Laomi finishing on 3-11 as Scotland crumbled.
