Wicketkeeper Gareth Roderick has signed a new contract with Worcestershire until the end of the 2028 season.
The 35-year-old has been with the Pears since moving from Gloucestershire in 2021 and brought up 3,000 runs for the county during the summer.
In nine red-ball matches in 2026, Roderick scored 367 runs, hitting an unbeaten 164 against Northamptonshire in May as Worcestershire went on to ultimately finish fifth in Division Two, 45 points off promotion.
He also took 31 catches to take his tally of dismissals for the club to 204, with three stumpings, from 65 matches.
"Worcestershire is somewhere I have called home for a long while now and it is a place I have made some amazing memories," Roderick said.
"I have a lot more to give on the field, as a batter and as a wicketkeeper, and I am fully committed to giving my absolute best to the club for as long as I possibly can."

Roderick is also approaching 1,000 runs in white-ball games for the Pears, with 977 runs from 34 List A matches and 847 in 40 T20 innings.
Worcestershire head coach Alan Richardson said Roderick was a "really important" part of the squad in terms of being "a leader" and represented "a lot of our core values".
"Out in the middle he is a fierce competitor, he drives standards at training and is a real asset across all three formats as a batter and with the gloves," Richardson said.
"He has a lot more to give and is very motivated."
