Yorkshire have re-signed all-rounder Will Sutherland for the 2026 Vitality Blast as well as rounds seven and eight of the County Championship.

The 26-year-old returns having spent part of last season with Yorkshire in a similar deal which involved their T20 campaign and two County Championship fixtures.

Sutherland, who captains Victoria in the Sheffield Shield as well as Melbourne Renegades in Australia's Big Bash, previously signed deals to play in England with Somerset and Essex but injuries prevented him from making an appearance for either side.

"I had a brilliant time with the club last year and I'm really excited to be coming back to Headingley," he said.

"Working with Mags [Anthony McGrath] and the rest of the coaching staff helped me push my game forward, and I built a strong bond with the rest of the lads along the way.

"I followed the team's progress closely from afar and the way we finished last season was hugely impressive. The momentum and belief that created was clear to see and I can't wait to get back in and get started with the boys again."

Sutherland's best performance for Yorkshire last term came when he hit 58 from 30 balls, including six sixes, against Northamptonshire in the Vitality Blast group stage.
