Glamorgan have signed 18-year-old all-rounder Tom Norton on a two-year rookie contract.

Norton, from Abergavenny, was part of Glamorgan's Metro Bank One-Day Cup squads in both 2024 and 2025.

He made his first team debut in the competition against Leicestershire at Sophia Gardens in August last year, returning impressive figures of 3-41 off of his 10 overs.

The teenager has been with Glamorgan since the age of 11, progressing through the pathway and academy.

In 2024, Norton became the youngest player to represent Wales since 2007 at the age of 16 years and 348 days.

On signing his first professional deal, the all-rounder said: "It's a privilege to sign for Glamorgan, being a Welsh boy from Abergavenny.

"My goal is to try and push into the first team to show my capabilities and improve as a player and a person."

Men's Team Assistant Coach Mark O'Leary said: "Tom is a genuine all-rounder, a great fielder, and a big personality in the changing room.

"He's a very exciting talent who thrived on that first XI experience last summer. It was a big step for him, and he grabbed it with both hands, and I think he has got a really big future ahead of him."
