Kent sign all-rounder Forrester for T20 Blast

Batting all-rounder Dian Forrester has joined Kent as an overseas player for the 2026 T20 Blast.
The 25-year-old South African has five T20 caps for his country.
Forrester played alongside Kent Spitfires captain Sam Billings for Rawalpindi Pindiz in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
He has scored 681 runs and taken 11 wickets in 36 T20 appearances, including 83 runs for South Africa.
Forrester replaces compatriot Senuran Muthusamy in the Spitfires squad after he sustained a knee injury.
Muthusamy, who had signed to play in the Championship and Blast from the start of the latter's season, will now be available for red-ball cricket when it resumes in August.
"I'm really excited to be playing for Kent in the Vitality Blast," said Forrester.
"Talking to Sam Billings and Justin Kemp about the history of the club and how they love it made me also want to be part of that history, and write my own this summer.
"I can't wait to play in front of packed crowds at Canterbury and give my best for the club."
Forrester is unlikely to be available for matches against Sussex and Essex, as he has been selected for South Africa A's three one-day fixtures against England Lions from 5-9 June.
Kent have also signed all-rounder Bertie Foreman on a short-term contract after impressing for the county's second XI this summer.
The left-handed batter and right-arm off-spinner will be available to play in the County Championship and T20 Blast until 19 July.
The 22-year-old was released by Sussex, external at the end of the 2025 season.
