Charlie Shreck: Leicestershire bowler signs one-year deal

Veteran Leicestershire swing bowler Charlie Shreck has signed a new one-year contract at Grace Road.

The 36-year-old took 57 wickets in all competitions during his debut season for the club, despite a disastrous campaign which saw Leicestershire fail to win in the County Championship.

Interim chief executive Andrew Boyce praised Shreck's contribution on the field and off it.

"He has been a consistent performer and is a big character," added Boyce.
