So what are the options for Frazer Clarke?

Clarke, who won bronze at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, has come up short three times in his pursuit of the British title.

He had spoken about a desire to face WBO heavyweight champion Fabio Wardley if he had come through this encounter with Jeamie TKV successfully, but that's now well off the table.

At the age of 34, Clarke finds himself at a crossroads and with serious questions to ask himself before stepping back into the ring.

Clarke will need to look domestically at potential opponents. He beat Dave Allen in 2023 and could look for a rematch with the Doncaster fighter after his loss to Arslanbek Makhmudov last month.

Johnny Fisher is also a possible option as he looks to rebuild after losing to Allen in May.

Jeamie TKV now has nine wins and two defeats on his record and most importantly the British heavyweight title in his possession, but where does he go from here?

TKV will not be short of challengers. A rematch with David Adeleye is surely now on the cards after their controversial encounter earlier this year.

Adeleye fights in Nigeria later this month, while TKV also mooted a rematch with Clarke would interest him.

"We will do it in London this time, maybe at Wembley - but any time, anywhere," TKV said post-fight.

Dave Allen is another prospect as is Essex favourite Johnny Fisher, with his sizeable fanbase. Solomon Dacres also remain in the mix.

Meanwhile, former cruiserweight world champion Lawrence Okolie - who will headline a card in Nigeria on 19 December - and fellow Londoner Richard Riakporhe are among the British fighters attempting to maneuver themselves into future world-title contention.

Not too far away in Birmingham, a completely opposite main event fight has just taken place.

Olympic Silver medallist Ben Whittaker has knocked out German fighter Benjamin Gavazi in the first round!

Whittaker settled into a rhythm quickly and sent Gavazi tumbling to the canvas with a right. Gavazi beat the count but Whittaker smelled blood.

It was all over moments later when Whittaker unleashed a barrage of punches before a right hook closed out the fight to the delight of his home crowd.

It was his first bout under the guidance of Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Boxing - what a way to start this new chapter of his career.

Both fighters left everything in the ring tonight and Frazer Clarke in particular. There would have been no disgrace in him calling it quits in the 11th round, and he saw through and gave it his all.

Well Jeamie TKV is the new British heavyweight champion!

This win will mean a lot to the Tottenham fighter and his family. Speaking of his family, have you read BBC Sport's account of their history? It is a tale that feels like it belongs in Hollywood.

A story of power, betrayal and survival.

His grandfather Andre-Bruno Tshikeva was a senior figure in the Zairean army and was later the target of several attempts on his life - including poisoning by one of his 10 wives.

TKV's father, Masaki, wanted to avenge his death and joined the army in the hope of rising to the top but also had a target on his back and was the subject of at least two attempts on his life.

Masaki eventually fled to England with his family and became a wrestler named 'Big Papa T'.

To the son, TKV, who graduated from university with a degree in Film and TV Studies before pursing a career in boxing and becoming the British heavyweight champion!

Great fight and welcome back to boxing BBC. Disagree with earlier comment about holding. Even on the onside both men were throwing short punishing shots. Great fight and TKV surprised me with his ability.

I believe the judges got it right, I had Jeamie up by two.

Both fighters got the assignment today for the first fight back on the BBC, it was... wow!

I wouldn't have been surprised if they pulled Frazer out in round 11 because there was a lot of shots that he didn't need to take.

Hats off to both fighters, they fully delivered.

  11. Watch Hennessy outclass Bytyqipublished at 22:11 GMT 29 November 2025

More reaction to come from the main event, but we have highlights of the co-main between Francesca Hennessy and Fabiana Bytyqi.

The unbeaten Briton was simply too good, as Hennessy extended her unbeaten record to seven fights.

Clarke left the ring after the result was read out so we won't be hearing from him.

The 34-year-old took a lot of damage late in that bout and understandably needs to go and get checked over.

"I knew he was going to hold on, but he started blowing within the first 30 seconds. We are not at the Olympics anymore!

"I knew it was my fight. I even had a point taken off and still won."

On the prospect of a rematch: "Of course. We will do it in London this time, maybe at Wembley - but any time, anywhere."

    Clarke v TKV

It's far from a classic but there were moments of real excitement across those 12 rounds.

Some big bruising shots from both sides - exactly what you want from a heavyweight bout.

    We go to the judges.

Did TKV do enough in the second half of the fight to make up for a slow start and that deducted point?
