Plymouth Raiders halted a four-game losing streak in one of two thrilling finales on Sunday.

DeAndre Medlock beat the buzzer to give the Devon side a 91-90 success against Sheffield Sharks.

Raiders had squandered a 26-point lead to trail by one with just 1.4 seconds left on the clock.

And JaJuan Smith landed a three-pointer as time expired to give Glasgow Rocks a brilliant late victory, edging Worcester Wolves 99-96 in overtime.

For Raiders, it was a crucial win in the most dramatic of circumstances following Friday's 91-80 defeat by Manchester Giants.

"It looked like we had the game controlled for 35 minutes, then it was slipping through our hands," said Raiders coach Jay Marriott.

"When you are a team that is struggling for a little bit of form, your confidence can be knocked so easily and we looked like we were going down that route. It would have been heart-breaking because I thought we played the best we have done all year for 35 minutes.

"Overall, the basketball gods were very kind to us and we deserved the win."
