Watch: Gary Lineker meets Sir Elton John

When Elton John became owner and chairman of Watford Football Club in 1976, the Hornets were languishing in the fourth tier of English football.

After appointing Graham Taylor as manager in 1977, Watford went on an incredible journey of success, winning promotion to the First Division in 1982, finishing second behind Liverpool in 1983, and reaching the FA Cup Final a year later.

Gary Lineker discusses with Elton the high and lows of owning a football club and finds out how he used to go on secret scouting missions with Taylor to find new players.
