It was a Munster double at Croke Park as Ballygunner beat Loughrea 1-20 to 1-14 to win the All-Ireland Senior club Hurling title, while Mikey Geaney landed an extra-time winner as Dingle beat St Brigid's 0-23 to 1-19 to win a classic All-Ireland club Football final.

Ruaidhri Fallon of St Brigid's kicked 1-6, including a two pointer with the last kick of normal time to send the game to extra-time.

But it was Mikey Geaney who proved to be hero as he struck the winner with the last kick of the game.

The victory means the junior, intermediate and senior All-Ireland titles will head to Kerry, adding to Ballymacelligott and An Ghaeltacht's success last week.

Ballygunner were finally able to add a second All-Ireland title after their maiden success in 2022, marking a golden period for the club that has heralded six Munster and 12 county titles.

Dingle raced into an early four point to no score lead, as Kerry star Tom O'Sullivan landed scores either side of a two point effort from Conor Flannery, as he fnished the half with 0-3 from corner-back.

St Brigid's soon settled and led 0-9 to 0-7 at half-time, with Ben O'Carroll and Conor Hand on target while Shane Cunnane landed three points of his own, including an orange flag.

Mark O'Connor, who currently plies his trade with AFL side Geelong in Australia and received special permission to stay and play the final, levelled the game with a two-point effort early in the second half.

The Roscommon men replied with a goal from wing back Ruaidhri Fallon, but Dingle hit back with a third two-pointer of the game as the star of the semi-final, Paul Geaney, landed an inspirational score from outside of the arc.

It was clear from the outset that there was going to be little between the two sides, and Brigid's were dealt a hammer blow heading into the final quarter when defender Pearse Frost was shown a black card.

Dingle won the ten minute period Frost was off the pitch by four points to one, as Tadgh De Brun landed two scores.

A single point separated the sides heading into five minutes of injury time before Geaney put Dingle two in front.

The game seemed to be slipping away from the Connacht men when goalkeeper Conor Carroll left a two point free short with time all but up.

But Goalscorer Fallon stepped up with the final play of the game to land a incredible two pointer to send the game to extra-time.

Fallon repeated the feat in extra-time as his side led by the minimum at the break.

Dylan Geaney drew the sides level once more with a score from a near impossible angle.

Over five minutes would elapse before Cunnane kicked his fifth point to edge St Brigid's in front once again, substitute Charlie O'Carroll extended the lead to two, with two minutes left on the clock.

O'Sullivan landed two solo scores in quick succession to single-handedly drag Dingle back from the brink heading into two minutes of additional time.

The Kerry champions would regain possession and Mikey Geaney fired over a dramatic winner to seal a maiden All-Ireland title for his club.

The 12-in-a-row Waterford champions were more than comfortable as they had six points to spare over the Galway winners.

Loughrea led five minutes before the break after Darren Shaughnessy rattled the back of the net.

There was little between the sides throughout a nip and tuck half, but on the balance of play it was the Munster men who shaded the first stanza, scores from Peter Hogan, Kevin and Pauric Mahoney gave them a one point half-time lead, 0-12 played 1-8.

Tiernan Killeen levelled the game with the first score of the half, but the decisive score would come soon after.

Mikey Mahoney's 34th minute goal shot the Munster champions into a lead they would never relinquish.

Ballygunner dominated the second half, showing their continued pedigree at this level, winning the period 1-8 to 0-6.

Pauric Mahoney who finished with 0-8 fired over three late points to seal a second All-Ireland club title for his club.
