Birmingham City have signed Brighton and Hove Albion winger Ibrahim Osman on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian spent the first half of this season on loan with French top-flight side Auxerre, making 14 appearances in Ligue 1.

He becomes the Championship side's third signing of the January transfer window, after the arrivals of Kai Wagner and Jhon Solis.

Osman began his career in Ghana before moving to Danish side Nordsjaelland in 2023, scoring 10 goals and making nine assists in 44 games in a breakthrough 2023-24 season.

His form earned a £16m move to Premier League side Brighton in the summer of 2024 before he was loaned to Feyenoord for the 2024-25 season.

There he had six goal involvements in 22 Eredivisie games and made seven Champions League appearances with the Dutch side.

Birmingham City are currently 14th in the Championship table with 35 points.
