'A sad situation'

Erik ten Hag's dismissal of my question about Jadon Sancho said everything about the sad situation between the £74m winger and Manchester United.
Sancho would be ushered back into the first-team fold if he apologised for his public rejection of Ten Hag's reasons for leaving him out of his squad for the Arsenal game in September.
But there has been no apology and even if it came now, after over six weeks, it would feel a bit hollow.
The only solution seems to be a move away in January, either on loan or a sale, but given the sums involved, it would cost United a substantial amount, either through slashing a huge sum off his transfer fee or subsidising his wages.
Is that one for Sir Jim Ratcliffe on the sporting side of Old Trafford or Joel Glazer on the commercial?
