Exeter Chiefs fly-half Henry Slade has been named Premiership Player of the Month for February.

The 21-year-old scored 57 points in February, including a career-high 27 in the win over Harlequins, as Exeter moved to third place after three wins.

He is the second Exeter player to win the award this season after Thomas Waldrom was honoured in November.

"Every time Henry Slade touches the ball something happens," said former England international Austin Healey.

"There is no doubt in my mind the lad has the potential to win 50 caps or more for England. He is too talented and works too hard not to achieve test caps.

"The only decision left is where he finally plays for England. It could be any of three positions - 12, 13 or 15."

Slade beat Wasps' Elliot Daly, Calum Clark of Northampton and Newcastle's Sinoti Sinoti to win the award.
