Davide Santon: Inter Milan re-sign Newcastle defender on loan

Newcastle United defender Davide Santon has rejoined Italian club Inter Milan on loan for the rest of the season.

The Serie A side have an option to buy the 24-year-old Italian at the end of the campaign.

Left-back Santon joined the Magpies from Inter in August 2011 and has made 94 appearances for the club.

He missed the start of the season with a knee injury, with competition from Paul Dummett and Massadio Haidara then relegating him to a fringe role.
