Haiti's capital, Port au Prince, is now largely under the control of armed gangs. More than a million people have been displaced from their homes and a new UN-backed force led by Kenya is struggling to restore order. But away from the headlines of chaos and gang violence, Haitians are still resisting and trying to build a life for themselves.
