LeeMckrazy was born Linda Mnisi in Soweto, South Africa. He was introduced to music at a very young age by his mother, who sang in a church choir. He was also passionate about football and briefly combined the two when he played for a local Soweto team and sang in the Diepkloof United Male Voices choir. After finishing his studies, LeeMckrazy released his debut album Intando Ka God in 2021, and was propelled to stardom by the popularity of Eloyi, a song that got over 1.3 million streams in its first week. His string of hits includes Jealousy, Kokotela, Ngibolekeni and Funk 99.
