After the rape and murder of a female trainee doctor in India, there have been protests across the country. She was killed at work. Doctors held a national strike over the weekend. Protesters want a stronger law to better protect medical staff against violence, increasing the level of security at hospitals and the creation of safe spaces for rest. More incidents of rape have made headlines in India since the trainee doctor was killed. Bebika Dhurve, a dentist who has worked in hospitals, tells us her reaction to what’s been happening.
