Journalist Augusto Góngora chronicled Chile’s past, his wife Paulina Urrutia helped him to document his own as Alzheimer's started to steal it from him. Augusto is a man whose life’s work was recording the true memory of his country, through a dictatorship who tried to obliterate it. Paulina, a famous actress and former Minister of Culture watched Augusto’s clandestine reports at university, decades later, they met and embarked on a love story that transcended memory. When Alzheimer's started to affect their relationship Paulina stood beside Augusto as he made his final testimony by documenting his disease in the film The Eternal Memory, released in 2023.
