Erika Cheung’s dream job was turning sour. She’d been hired by Theranos fresh out of university, the company promised to provide the technology to do instant diagnoses of various diseases from a single drop of blood. Working as a lab assistant, Erika discovered it didn't work and so risked patients' health. She endured harassment and a lengthy court case in order to tell the public the truth. Adebayo Bolaji started acting in his teens, and loved performing, but as an adult he struggled to find a vocation. He tried his hand at law and at bookselling, before becoming a successful actor and director. But still he felt that something was missing. Adebayo tells Outlook's Eric Mugaju about growing up in a big Nigerian household in West London, and the moment that changed his life.
