On The Arts Hour this week, Oscar winning Mexican director Alfonso Cuarón talks about his latest film Roma, an autobiographical story that chronicles a year in the life of a middle-class family in Mexico City in the early 1970s. The award winning novelist David Szalay talks about his latest collection of short stories, Turbulence, twelve interlinked tales of travelling at altitude. The actor and director Andy Serkis tells us why he took his inspiration directly from Rudyard Kipling’s original book for his new film Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, and we have producer and Icelandic musician Olafur Arnalds discussing his self-playing pianos.
