On Tour in Brussels

The Arts Hour

Available for over a year

Presenter Nikki Bedi is on stage at Les Riches Claires with top performers, film-makers and creative talents to explore the artistic landscape of the second most cosmopolitan city in the world. Brussels has two official languages and many more unofficial languages flowing from the many international communities at its heart. It is also home to the European Parliament, and regarded as the capital of Europe. Nikki is joined by RTBF news anchor, documentary filmmaker and presenter of arts show Tout le Baz’Art, Hadja Lahbib, and film actor Nabil Mallat, star of Image - a story of media manipulation in the Brussels suburb of Molenbeek. There’s live music from hot Brussels musicians Témé Tan, and Juicy, the duo Julie Rens and Sasha Vovk . There’s stand up from comedian Michael Van Peel, whose satirical round up of the year in politics is a fixture of Belgian New Year’s TV, and a Culture Cab tour of the city’s artistic secrets with Andri Søren Haflidason - artist, musician and co-founder of the Brussels Electronic Marathon.
