This week an Eritrean government delegation arrived in Ethiopia, an event unimaginable even a month ago. The two countries clashed in a border war in 1998, and despite a ceasefire the standoff has continued over the border town of Badme. But with a new Prime Minister in Ethiopia it seems peace may finally be possible. BBC Tigrinya journalists Tesfalem Araia from Eritrea, and Berihu Lilay from the Tigray region of Ethiopia, discuss developments. Lunchtime around the world A 64 year old civil servant from Japan was recently disciplined for taking his lunch break three minutes early. So how is the lunch break seen around the world? Over to Sana Safi at BBC Afghan, Dina Aboughazala of BBC Monitoring, Prudent Nsengiyumva of BBC Great Lakes and Luis Barrucho of BBC Mundo. Football rivalries: "Chilean" or "Chalaca"? BBC Mundo journalist Martin Riepl grew up calling the balletic bicycle-kick football move the "Chalaca", and traces its origin to the Peruvian port of Callao in 1892. But most people call it the "Chilean", after Peru's neighbour and rival Chile. So does it need renaming? Taxing social media in Africa New laws in Tanzania and Egypt have imposed restrictions, and sometimes fees, on the use of social media. Similar laws are proposed in Uganda. Governments say it tackles "fake news", critics say that it curbs free speech. To discuss the issues are BBC Africa journalists Sammy Awami in Tanzania and Patience Atuhaire in Uganda, and BBC Arabic's Ranyah Sabry in Egypt. In praise of larger ladies The Tang Paradise park in northern China recently made headlines by offering women weighing more than 62kg free entry. The promotion was intended to honour a famous Tang Dynasty beauty, Yang Guifei, who was famously curvaceous. The only catch was that you had to weigh in. BBC Hong Kong bureau chief Vivan Wu wasn't impressed. My Home Town: Balykchy, Kyrgyzstan BBC Kyrgyz's Gulnara Kasmambet remembers her hometown, a place of howling winds, astronauts in space and childhood hide and seek games.
