The first major female superhero made her comic strip debut in 1941. Wonder Woman - an Amazonian princess with superhuman strength and agility - was created by psychologist William Marston, who called her "propaganda for the new type of woman who, I believe, should rule the world". Joye Murchison Kelly - then Joye Hummel - was the first female writer on Wonder Woman. She talks to Lucy Burns about her memories of working on the comic with Marston.
