On-Air Diabetes Attack Does Not Stop the Newsroom

Over to You

Available for over a year

Recently while presenting The Newsroom, presenter, Alex Ritson, who has type one diabetes, had his first on-air hypoglycaemic attack. It caused him to become confused and his speech slurred. Eventually his colleague, Neil Nunes stepped in to take over. Alex decided to explain to listeners that he had had a low blood sugar attack due to his condition. Listener, Andy Boddington from the UK congratulates the presenter for his bravery while Alex explains a bit more about what happened. Also, Ron Lager from the Netherlands says he is sick and tired of trying to find contact details for programmes. He is confused as to why there are email addresses for some and not others. Rajan sets out on a quest to find the central email address which tackles all of your queries.
