Sparklers in bottles started Swiss bar fire, officials say

Weekend

Available for 21 days

Swiss authorities believe a fire at a bar, which killed 40 people and injured more than a hundred others, was caused by indoor fireworks in bottles that got too close to the ceiling. Our correspondent in Crans-Montana has the latest. Also in today’s programme: multiple explosions rock Venezuela's capital, Caracas; and the twin brothers who have scaled some of the highest mountains in the world - we speak to one of them. Weekend presenter Paul Henley is joined by Paula Erizanu, a journalist and writer based in Moldova, and Tom Nuttall, The Economist’s chief Germany correspondent.
