The price of crude oil has risen above one hundred dollars a barrel due to supply concerns linked to the US-Israeli war with Iran. Shares prices in several Asian markets have fallen. The oil price rises come despite an announcement by the International Energy Agency that its members will make available four- hundred million barrels of oil and refined products from their reserves. We get a reaction from the US Energy Department. Meanwhile ship attacks in the Gulf intensify and Israel has launched fresh strikes on Lebanon.
