Trump delivers patriotic State of the Union address

Newsday

Available for 29 days

Donald Trump delivered a combative State of the Union address and hailed what he said was an Ameican "turnaround for the ages". We take a look at what the President has been saying. Immigration was once again a major theme of the address. President Trump lambasted what he described as corruption that was plundering America. He singled out the US-Somali community in Minnesota, where he has ordered a divisive crackdown on immigration and crime in recent times. We get a reaction from the Somali-American community. And we report from Mexico where the country is returning to normal after deadly violence following the killing of cartel leader El Mencho at the weekend. However, some areas, including Puerto Vallarta, remain under shelter-in-place orders.
