Newsday

Available for 28 days

A former Russian army medical officer says he was tortured after refusing to send a group of soldiers to a so-called ‘meat storm. Russian strikes on Ukraine have continued, on the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion. Ukrainian officials say five people --including a child-- were injured and several multi-storey buildings were damaged in drone strikes on the city of Zaporizhzhia. The Mexican authorities say at least sixty two people were killed in the military operation to seize the Jalisco New Generation Cartel leader, known as "El Mencho".
