A landmark trial starts in California against Meta and Google

Mark Lanier is representing a woman who says she suffered severe mental harm by becoming addicted to social media as a child. The companies, Meta and Google deny their products deliberately harm children. The brutal clampdown on protests in Iran may have left tens of thousands dead, amongst those killed activists think that there could be several hundred dead children.
