A South Korean court has found the former president, Yoon Suk Yeol, guilty of abuse of power and fabricating official documents. The court in Seoul is delivering its verdict in the first of several cases linked to Mr Yoon's failed attempt to impose martial law just over a year ago. The Venezuelan opposition leader, Maria Corina Machado, has presented her Nobel Peace Prize to the US President. For his part Donald Trump said it was a "wonderful gesture of mutual respect".
