Newsday

Available for 9 days

Many people in rebel held Chin state have left their homes, with some fleeing into India. The push comes ahead of the first general election in Myanmar since the army overthrew the government in two thousand and twenty one. Critics describe the vote as a sham. We are in the capital of Morocco, where with great fanfare the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament has got under way - with a win for the hosts. We'll speak to supporters, and discuss what's likely to happen over the next month with a leading African football journalist (Photo: Military personnel participates in a parade on Armed Forces Day in Naypyitaw; Credit: Reuters)
