Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg stands down

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The Chief Operating Officer of Facebook's parent company Meta is standing down after 14 years. Sheryl Sandberg announced her decision on the social media site. Sandberg is one of the most high-profile women in the tech industry. Elsewhere, the chief executive of German asset manager DWS has resigned over 'greenwashing' claims. It follows police raids on DWS offices in Frankfurt, as well as on those of its majority owner, Deutsche Bank in the same city. DWS denies that it misled investors. We also look at how an export ban on chicken from Malaysia is putting Singapore's de-facto national dish under threat.
