Trade slows as China's Covid policy lingers

China's import and export markets both shrunk unexpectedly in October. It's the first drop since the early days of the Covid pandemic. China has maintained a strict 'zero Covid' policy since then - with lockdowns bringing factory production in cities to a virtual standstill. So how much is that policy to blame for the slowdown?
