More than a dozen pupils have been killed in a shooting at a school in Texas. It happened at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde. The 18-year-old suspect is dead, believed to have been killed by police officers. US President Joe Biden has ordered the US flag to be flown at half-mast until sunset on Saturday 28th May following the mass shooting. Elsewhere, the commodities giant Glencore has agreed to plead guilty to corruption charges in the United States and the UK. It will pay more than $1 billion to end a five-year investigation into corporate malpractice. It was accused of directing traders to fix the oil market as well as using bribes to secure business in half a dozen countries, mostly in Africa.
