Climate talks move into extra time

World Business Report

Available for over a year

The final scheduled day of the UN climate summit in Glasgow, known as COP26 has over-run. COP 26 was supposed to agree on a pathway to stop the world succumbing to catastrophic climate change. But there is no deal as yet and intensive negotiations are continuing in to the weekend to try and break the deadlook. Finance and agreement on fossil fuels are two of the major sticking points; we get the latest from the BBC's Matt McGrath. US Treasury secretary Janet Yellen talks about President Biden's Build Back Better bill and why she believes it's necessary and Chris Low of FHN Financial gives his response.
