Afghanistan faces humanitarian crisis

We're continuing our coverage of Afghanistan here on Newsday. As Western governments continue the evacuation of foreign nationals and Afghans who worked for them, the country faces a humanitarian crisis after an 800 million dollar shortfall in pledged aid funding. We'll look at the situation and hear from a senior UN Envoy in Kabul. We're also in New Zealand - bringing you an update of the Covid situation there after the country imposed a strict lock down when a single person tested positive for the Delta variant.
