Shia Muslims reportedly killed in Nigeria

Several Shia Muslims marking the religious Ashura festival in Nigeria are reported to have been killed in clashes with the police. Kenyan and British lawyers have submitted a complaint to the UN Human Rights Council on behalf of Kenyans who were forced from their land during the British colonial era. A quarter of a million people in Somalia have been forced to flee their homes this year alone due to drought and conflict.
