Hong Kong: prominent activists arrested

Prominent Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong has been arrested in Hong Kong, according to a statement by the political party he co-founded. The Demosisto party said he had been "suddenly pushed into a private car on the street" while walking to a train station. A new case of Ebola has been discovered in Uganda, on the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. A nine-year-old girl is believed to have been brought to the town of Kasese from the DRC in an effort to obtain medical treatment, medical tests at a border screening post confirmed that she was carrying the infection.
