US withdraws from nuclear agreement with Russia

The US is set to formally withdraw from a nuclear treaty with Russia, raising fears of a new arms race. The Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) was signed by US President Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev in 1987. According to a new poll commissioned by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in the UK, nearly half of adults in the country think Islam is 'incompatible' with traditional values. It also found that 68% of those surveyed believe most people in the country have a negative view of Islam. The mayor of Somalia's capital Mogadishu has died a week after being wounded in a suicide attack that killed at least six other people.
