North Korea calls new missiles a warning to the south

Newsday

Available for over a year

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has said two missiles fired on Thursday were newly designed tactical weapons that sent a "solemn warning" to South Korea over plans to hold military drills with the United States. More than 100 people are feared to have drowned in a shipwreck off the coast of Libya. The tragedy occurred when a wooden boat carrying migrants sank near the town of al Khoms. The US federal government is to resume executing death-row inmates after a 16 year hiatus, the justice department has announced.
