Federal executions to resume in the US

The US federal government will resume executing death-row inmates after a 16 year hiatus, the justice department has announced. The United States Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, says he's willing to travel to Tehran to speak directly to the Iranian people despite the growing tensions between the two countries. A team of scientists at the National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology in India, have developed a compound from the leaf of a mango tree which could protect ships from rusting.
