Newsday

Available for over a year

Hong Kong's chief executive Carrie Lam has condemned what she described as "extreme use of violence" by protesters who stormed and vandalised the parliament. Australia police say they have foiled what they've described as planned terror attacks that would have targeted prominent Sydney harbour city landmarks. A 15-year-old playing for the first time at Wimbledon has beaten Venus Williams in her opening match.
