The three-time motor racing world champion Niki Lauda has died at 70

Niki Lauda's best remembered most for his audacious recovery from a near-fatal crash at the German Grand Prix in 1976 in which he sustained major burns; he was racing again with bandages covering his wounds just six weeks later. Scientists say that global sea levels could rise far more than predicted because of the fast melting in Greenland and Antarctica which could lead to the displacement of hundreds of millions of people.
