Opposition supporters hold mass protests in Venezuela

The Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido has called for an escalating series of strikes as part of his campaign to oust President Nicolas Maduro. Britain's Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson has been sacked over information leaked from a National Security Council meeting. The US Attorney General, William Barr, has decided not to testify before the judiciary committee of the House of Representatives on Thursday.
