Tropical storm Kenneth strikes Mozambique

Cyclone Kenneth has made landfall in northern Mozambique, a country still recovering from another huge storm. President Xi Jinping of China has opened a meeting of more than thirty world leaders in Beijing, for the second summit to discuss China's ambitious global investment and infrastructure programme known as the Belt and Road initiative. President Putin of Russia and others are attending the summit. Washington is close to becoming the first US state to allow the composting as an alternative to burial or cremation of human bodies. It could be cheaper and more environmentally friendly.
