UN warns of global measles vaccinations

A new report by the UN Children’s agency UNICEF shows that over 160 million children globally missed out on measles vaccination between 2010 and 2017, making way for the resurgence of the immunisable disease around the world. North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and Russia's President Vladimir Putin are set for a summit meeting. They are due to meet on Russky island near the city of Vladivostok in Russia's far east on Thursday morning. Three of the most controversial figures on Sudan's ruling transitional military council have offered their resignations - one of the key demands of the protest movement. A mass demonstration is planned for Thursday with trainloads of activists arriving at the capital, Khartoum.
