EU agrees to another Brexit delay

After an emergency meeting on Wednesday night, European Union leaders have agreed to delay Brexit until the end of October. The first stage of India’s general election has started in 20 states. 900 million people are eligible to vote in the biggest democratic poll with Prime Minister Narendra Modi seeking another term. Algeria’s newly appointed interim President Abdelkader Bensalah has set 4th July as the date for the country’s postponed presidential election.
