The British prime minister, Theresa May will face a renewed attempt today by MP's to find a parliamentary majority on the UK's future status with the European Union. Slovakia has elected political outsider, Zuzana Caputova, as its first female head of state. Parliamentary and local elections were held on Sunday in three areas of the Democratic Republic of Congo, three months after the rest of the country voted.
